A Child Advocacy Center (CAC) is a community-based entity established to offer multidisciplinary resources from a central location. Promotes collaboration and coordination between and among investigative, child protection, medical, and mental health services to improve all services by using a multidisciplinary team and child-centered approach. Serves to reduce the times a child is required to recount an experience or undergo forensic interviewing.
