A prevention strategy that teaches people how to safely intervene when an individual is at risk of becoming the victim of a sexual assault or other crime. Training focuses on increasing awareness, feeling a sense of responsibility, weighing pros and cons, gaining confidence, and developing skills to effectively step in and prevent a sexual assault from occurring.
