A cluster of findings and symptoms associated with a lack of estrogen including thinning, shrinking, drying, or decreased lubrication and/or inflammation of vaginal tissue. Can be a common finding in women who lack adequate estrogen, particularly older women who have a physiological decrease in estrogen, associated with advancing age.
