A procedure involving or requiring the use of both hands. This term is commonly used in reference to part of the gynecological physical examination in which two fingers of one hand are inserted into the vagina and the other hand is used to palpate pelvic structures, such as the uterus, cervix, ovaries, and fallopian tubes.
