Per subchapter 9 (NJ ADC 13:37-9.1) of the New Jersey State Board of Nursing Rules, an FN-CSA (forensic nurse-certified sexual assault) is a registered professional nurse licensed in New Jersey who: is specially trained to provide comprehensive care to sexual assault victims, demonstrates competency in conducting a sexual assault forensic examination, and has successfully completed a course of education as set forth in the above subchapter.
