Two thick, longitudinal folds of skin on either side of the labia minora, extending from the mons pubis to the perineum and forming the lateral boundaries of the vulva. This outer surface skin is pigmented with sebaceous glands and covered with coarse hair after puberty. The inner surface skin is smooth and hairless. Singular term is labia majus.
