Forensic DNA Lab
The utilization of a vendor laboratory to provide DNA services in which the NDIS participating laboratory takes or retains ownership of the DNA data for entry into CODIS, when applicable. Outsourcing does not require the existence of a contractual agreement or the exchange of funds. (QA Standards for Forensic DNA Testing Laboratories)
